In this other heart wrenching installment of Armentrout, you just dive right into the story--- and for those who read a lot of contemporary, you will bawl your eyes out, and immerse yourself in the very first sentence Armentrout delivers.
Lena's situation is similar to mine, except how long she loves Sebastian is longer. That car accident happens and it seems common, that, if your friends die, people appear to turn it into a life lesson rather than silencing themselves about the situation. Thereafter that...
The world just moves on. Trauma and Lena's foreign states are the worst to live through especially for I know what it felt like to be on her shoes. This book has impacted me in the best way.
Lena is utterly admirable, especially when she mentions that she read ACOTAR (WAIT WHAT?!?!?!). For Sebastian: Yes, he might be an a$$ but not really. He doesn't bully Lena, at least, with his humor, but, with the way he flirts just makes her think that, oh, is he going to kiss me??
And what makes it SO frustrating is that it allows her to lose hope when she shouldn't.
In the end love prevails, despite the fact that her friends died. Aside from Armentrout's, The Problem With Forever, contemporary novel, this will make your skies shatter that you'd have a mental breakdown right in the moment you read Lena's thoughts and feelings toward her regrets.
If you ARE reading this, then, I do suggest you read it, although I don't know if you are really okay with spoiling yourself. But, even with these spoilers, you will still cry--- I've experienced this with another book so trust me on this one.
